Tim Edwards

Tim has recently entered Church ministry as a vocation. Before coming to Discovery, he was the General Director of Camp IAWAH, a Christian camp, retreat and outdoor education centre near Westport, Ontario for 8 years. Before that he was a teacher with the Durham District School Board near Toronto for 16 years, mostly working in various Guidance Department roles.

Tim and his wife, Colleen, have two boys. Mitchell is going into his third year at Houghton College in New York State and Owen is working for a year between high school and university.

Tim and Colleen live in the Spencerville area.

Tim’s major roles:
- Ministry oversight
- Liaison with Leadership Team (Elders/Deacons)
- Teaching (the Gathering & Kid’s Club)
- Adults’ Curriculum Direction (Explore & Home Groups)
- Liaison for Men’s Ministry
- League Commissioner-Upwards Basketball
